Pakistani flag hoisted in Indian held Kashmir once again

SRINAGAR: As Pakistan observing 50th anniversary of 1965 war, the green flags of the Islamic Republic were seen in Srinagar and other parts of the Indian-held Jammu Kashmir after Friday prayers.

Hoisting of Pakistan’s national flags has become a common occurrence in the disputed state.

Earlier on Pakistan’s independence day back on 14th August, Indian Hurriyat leader Asiya Indarabi hoisted Pakistani flag in a an anti-Indian rally and sang Pakistani anthems in a gathering of hundreds of women.

On the other hand, Indian authorities have arrested many Hurriyat leaders and conducting raids for others for waving Pakistani flag and for promoting anti-state events.
