ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has finally decided to let Scotland Yard police to have access to prime accuse of Dr Imran Farooq murders case, Mohsin Ali.
According to details, a three-member team of Scotland Yard investigators arrived in Islamabad on Tuesday in connection with the ongoing investigation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr. Imran Farooq’s murder in London in 2010
Pakistan, who had been denying access seeking political gains from UK has now allowed their team to have access to the suspect.
It is said that Pakistani officials will remain on the occasion during the interrogation.
Experts believe that Dr Imran Farooq murder case is close to get its logical conclusion as UK police and Scotland Yard have strengthen their case against Muttahida Qaumi Movement supremo Altaf Hussin.
It is believed that Altaf Hussain would be arrested after his bail expires in October, this year.
Earlier in June a three-member team visited in Islamabad to partake in a joint interrogation of one of the alleged accused, Moazzam Ali Khan.
Dr. Imran Farooq, 50, a founding member of the MQM, was stabbed and beaten to death in Edgware, northwest London, as he returned home from work on September 16, 2010.
