ISLAMABAD: Famous journalist and senior anchor person Dr Shahid Masood revealed that former Federal Minister Dr Asim was having party at his home, a day before he was detained.
While talking at local TV channel he revealed that there was a mega party scene at Dr Asim, a day before he was detained from his office by some officials of sensitive agencies who were wearing civil dresses.
He further added that it is very unfortunate that people like Dr Asim looted this country very badly but now we are fortunate that those people who were disappointed with the state are now showing their confidence on it.
It should be kept in mind that security officials detained Dr Asim on corruption charges against him and now today he has been handed over to rangers for further investigations.
Dr Asim was appointed as Federal Petroleum Minister during Pakistan Peoples Party’s Government in 2008. He was currently serving as Chairman Sindh Higher Education Commission (SHEC).
