MUMBAI – Former Indian Home Secretary RK Singh revealed the how corrupt police officers foiled secret operations.
Leader of Bharatiya Janata Party, RK Singh said that Mumbai Police Officers foiled Indian covert operation planned to take down the under world don Dawood Ibrahim.
While giving an interview to Indian TV Channel, he said that “Mumbai police foiled a secret operation launched when Vajpayee was prime minister to take down Dawood Ibrahim” he said.
He revealed that Indian government had made contact with gang and they were being trained at a secret location but some corrupt police officer made a raid and arrested the all members of gang that foiled covert mission.
“A group was being trained to target Dawood but he had people in Mumbai police on his ‘pay roll’ who were alerted. The Mumbai police came saying there is a warrant against them. But I cannot say it is confirmed. I have just heard…I don’t have evidence,” he added.
