British media reveals Israel’s plans to attack Iran

NEW YORK: Israeli leaders planned to attack Iran three times in last few years, CNN and the New York Times reported on Saturday.

According to an audio recording, leaked to an Israeli television broadcaster Israeli leadership decided to attack different military bases in Iran three times in last few years but with draw from their decisions after denied from and military leadership.

The recording with former Defense Minister of Israel Ehud Barak was leaked to Israel’s Channel 2. It detailed three strikes Barak had planned with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

In 2010, Israeli military puts a full stop to these plans, in 2011 and 2012, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief changed the mindset of attacking Iran.

IDF chief said that “We planned to do it, but then I spoke with (then US Defense Secretary) Panetta and said that I request, I demand to postpone the drill”.
