Barclays Premier League: Everton vs Manchester City, Team News, Preview, Live Streaming

LONDON – Manchester City will take on Everton in Barclays Premier League on Sunday, August 23, 2015 in Goddison Park ground, London.

Manchester city has a flying start to their season as they have played two matches so far and crushed their opponents with 3 goals each to Chelsea and West Brom Albion.

The way City has started their league campaign anyone can claim that they are the hot favorites for the tittle. It’s too early to say that but what people have seen is something extraordinary. City will be playing without their important defender Zabaleta who has been sidelined for month due to knee injury.

While on the other side Everton crushed Southampton with 3-0 margin last week which was the morale boosting victory for them and they will be contesting Manchester City with full of their abilities and confidence.

Although Everton is somehow a light team in front of Manchester city but it could be a tough contest. Ross Barkley will be the player to watch from Everton side.

Manuel Pellegrini, Manchester City’s manager said “It will be a difficult challenge – they are a difficult team who play very good football. They didn’t play well against Watford but scored two goals, and in their second game they played very well and scored three goals.”

Roberto Martinez, Everton’s manager “It is the same with Sunday – if we rely on one or two individuals, we are going to fall short. Against City it will be the same as Southampton. We will have to be very good in everything. If you are not very strong throughout every aspect of the performance, you will find playing against Manchester City very tough”.

Match will start at 4 PM, British Summer Time (BST) and 8 PM, Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

Everton Possible XI: Howard; Coleman, Stones, Jagielka, Galloway; Barry, McCarthy; Mirallas, Barkley, Cleverley; Lukaku
