Clark’s farewell performance can ruin Javed Miandad, Inzamam’s records

ISLAMABAD – Australian skipper Michael Clarke is playing last Test match of his career as he announced to retire from International Cricket after last Ashes Test match of the series. 

Michael Clark has scored 8628 run in 114 Test matches with an average of 49.30. He also hit 28 centuries and 27 fifties with the best of 329.

Clark’s brilliant performance in Ashes Test match can ruin the batting records of Pakistani legendary players great Javed Miandad and “Sultan of Multan” Inzamam-ul-Haq.

He is just 202 runs short to surpassed the Javed Miandad and Inzamam in Test cricket. Javed Miandad had scored 8832 runs in 189 innings with average of 52.7.

Javed Miandad is highest runs scorer for Pakistan followed by Inzamam-ul-Haq who scored 8830 runs Test match cricket.

On the other hand Younis Khan is just 18 runs behind to surpass the great players of Pakistan cricket. Younis Khan’s average in Test cricket is higher than all the above mention players.

“Man of Crisis” Younis Khan so far scored 8814 runs in Test cricket with the average of 54.3 and became leading century maker for Pakistan with 30 Test hundreds.

Now, records of Pakistani batsmen are on stake of Clark’s farewell performance.
