Rashid Godil named himself and Farooq Sattar to be on hit list

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s leader Rashid Godil who has been shot in Karachi and is between life and death situation, had said in his speech in parliament that his life is in danger, and he might be killed soon.

During his speech he said, he might not see month of September and may be targeted before.

Jaag TV in its especial report run a clip in which MQM leader stated that he feared if he could see next month.

He said “I fear if I could witness month of September.”

Godil also named Farooq Sattar to be on hit list after him.

The clip has gone viral and been discussed in both political and social circles.

The clip reveals that Rashi Godil had already sensed that his life was in danger.

On the other hand, IG Sindh police has said that Rashid Godil never agreed to take security personnel for himself.

It is pertinent to mention here that Godil sustained five bullet shots, the most fatal one in the chest.

He is on ventilator since evening, while doctors say next 48 to 72 hours are very critical for him.
