Mushahidullah Khan sends resignation to PM house

ISLAMABAD: Sneior leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Mushahidullah Khan has reportedly sent his resignation to Prime Minister House on Saturday.

Mushahidullah who had been on trip to Maldives was summoned today for clarification over his non-professional and irresponsible statement in an interview to BBC.

However, according to local media, he has sent his resignation to PM house.

The controversy emerged when and Mushahidullah’s interview was published and broadcast on BBC in which he had accused former DG ISI General Zahir ul Islam for conspiring against PML-N government.

He said Retd. General was behind the Dharna Conspiracy last year.

However, both PM house and ISPR has denounced his statement terming it false and baseless.

 Mushahidullah was in hot water since the interview surfaced, PTI leaders had demanded PM to sack him if the allegation he leveled were not true.
