LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board has conditioned the increment in players’ payments with cancellation of winning bonus.
According to details, during the meeting between PCB and captains of all three formats, the board agreed to double the increment but conditioned it with cancelation of winning bonuses. Players refused this offer and demanded both packages.
The conflict between Pakistan Cricket Board and players over Central Contract has once again gone into pending after a failed meeting between PCB officials and captains of all formats for Pakistan cricket team.
It should be kept in mind that players refused to sign a three-month contract before the World Cup and since then, after 8 month still the issue is pending.
PCB is hopeful to solve the issue soon.
Players have reservations as they have not been awarded with increment in 2014 so it is their right to get increment in payments now. Players have asked PCB to increase 15% monthly pay along with increase in match fee as well
