Government decides to suspend cellular service in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD – Federal Ministry on Thursday decided to suspended the cellular services in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

According to details, cellular services will remain suspended from 10 pm to 12 pm on Thursday and 6 am to 1 pm on Friday.

They further said that the mobile service in other sensitive areas of twin cities was also suspended as part of security measure ahead of Pakistan Day Parade.

Mobile phone operators said that mobile service will also remain suspended in the sensitive areas of twin city as part of security measure ahead of “Independence Day.”

Earlier, Cellular services were suspended on Thursday morning and restored after Pakistan’s army’s rehearsals for August 14.
