Deputy Speaker National Assembly adjourns meeting for indefinite period

ISLAMABAD – Deputy Speaker of National Assembly (NA) Murtaza Javed Abbasi on Thursday adjourned the assembly meeting for indefinite period. 

Murtaza Javed Abbasi preside the meeting in the absence of Speaker NA Ayyaz Sadiq. Opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah expressed his reservation over government’s behavior and said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s law maker taking lightly the issue of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s resignations.

He backed not to accept MQM resignations and urged them to take it back. He said talks with MQM should be extended It is reported that PPP is likely to hold a high-level meeting in London or Dubai to discuss the issue.

After his address, Deputy Speaker adjourned the session for indefinite period.
