MQM’s senior leadership part ways

KARACHI: Mutthida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) senior leadership is reportedly set to leave party and Altaf Hussain over serious rifts.

According to media reports, as many as 17 MQM leaders including Babar Ghouri, Dr Saghir Ahmed, Faisal Sabzwari, Khush Bakht Shujaat and Iram Azeem Farooqi, have left country after conflict developed between them and Party Supremo Altaf Hussain. Said members were also absent from Sindh Assembly sessions.

Altaf Hussain himself confessed on Friday that his workers are leaving him in ‘hard times’.

On the other hand, One of MQM’s leaders Salman Baloch also mentioned it in a TV show that several party workers have left Altaf Hussain and MQM.

However, MQM is yet to confirm or deny the reports.
