WESTMINSTER – Newcastle United and Southampton football club will kick off their Barclays Premier League campaigns on Sunday, August 9 at St James’ Park, Westminster.
Southampton finished the last season with seventh position and secure a Europe League spot, while New Castle United ended with 15th place on the table.
Many players left the New Castle United including main striker Jonas Gutierrez, who netted the ball and confirmed win over West Ham United last May.
Southampton have the better record against New Castle United over last two to three years. Southampton won last three battles against New Castle United and Magpies failed to win any game since 2013.
The match will start at 1:30 BST and will televised in Pakistan at 5:30 (Pakistan Standard Time).
