CNG school transport banned in Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh government has banned the use of school buses that run on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) in Karachi.

According to a notification issued on Friday evening, no school transport running on CNG or LPG can be used in the city from now on.

However, the implementation over notification is yet to be observed after schools open in Karachi.

 Provincial minister for transport, Mumtaz Jakhrani also confirmed the news stating that law has been made and will soon be passed in Assembly.
