Clarke inches close to Haiden’s record

LONDON: Australian Test captain Michael Clarke requires just 21 more runs to surpass his previous team mate Mathew Hayden on the on ICC Test record book.

Clarke has scored 8605 runs in 113 Test matches since 2004 when he debuted against Pakistan.

He needs 21 runs to leave behind Haiden with 8625 runs.

There are high chances that he would achieve this mile stone in the fourth scheduled Ashes Test against England.

Fourth Ashes Test will commence from Thursday at Trent Bridge Nottingham.
