Pakistan lost opener Mukhtar Ahmed as he tried to whip it to leg, and got a thick outside edge to short third man.
Incoming batsman M Hafeez and Shehzad are running along nicely.
Pakistan has opted to bat first after winning the toss on a flat surface. Skipper Afridi also said that around 170-180 can easily be chased on this wicket.
