COLOMBO: Pakistan’s second consecutive T20 win over Sri Lanka today at Colombo will kill ‘two with one stone.’
The 29-run victory over Lankan Tigers on Thursday has earned them 2 valuable points and has brought its ratings (117) equal to West Indies and one short of India (118) in ICC T20 ranking.
Though Pakistan is currently at 5th spot, today’s win will push them up by two places to grab the third spot where India stands now.
If Pakistan wins the second T20 match, they will be awarded 3 bonus points and will clinch the third spot from India.
