Spot-fixing case: ECB files another plea against Danish Kaneria

 

KARACHI –  England and Whales Cricket Board (ECB) once again filed a petition against former Test cricket Dnish Kaneria in Sindh High Court regarding spot-fixing case.

According to details, Barrister Khawaja Naveed registered the plea against Pakistani leg-spinner.

ECB demanded to seize the property of Danish Kaneria and sought fine of £ 2,49000. He already faced the sentence over the plea registered by English Cricket Board.

In 2012, Pakistani leg-spinner was banned by ECB. He was found guilty in spot-fixing case while playing with Essex in the 2009.

ECB finned him £100,000 and imposed life time ban on Pakistani player. His appealed against conviction was rejected by court.
