ISLAMABAD – Opposition leader in National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah on Tuesday opposed the resolution of de-seating of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) MNAs.
Resolution against PTI was submitted by Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Jamiat ulema Islam (F). Syed Khursheed Shah opposed the resolution in parliament.
Awami National Party (ANP) also in favor of resolution.
Senior leader of PML-N, Ishaq Dar said that government adopted positive approach over PTI issue and he requested the speaker National Assembly to delayed the voting on resolution against PTI.
Jimmat e Islami and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz also stood up with PTI against resolution.
On Monday, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif rejected the proposal of de-seating MNAs of PTI. He said that PML-N government wants supremacy of institutions and constitution.
