Sri Lanka set Pakistan 369-run target in 5th ODI

HAMBANTOTA: Sri Lanka set up highest total of 369 runs against Pakistan   in the 5the One-Day International match at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium, Hambantota.

Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat on what Angelo Mathews felt would be a decent batting surface. With the help of Kosul’s ton and Mathews’ quick fiftym, Sri Lanka scored 368 runs on 4 wickets in the match.

 Sri Lankan openers Perera put up a solid first wicket partnership of 164, it came to an end when Dhilshan was run out on his 62, Parera went on to score his 2nd ODI ton, first against Pakistan. He scored 116 runs before he too was run out by Mohammad Irfan. While Mathews and Milinda Siriwardana scored 70 and 52 runs respectively. Pakistan conceded 119 runs in last 10 overs.

Pakistani fast bowler Rahat Ali took two wickets in the match.
