LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has called off the visit of Zimbabwe due next month, pertaining to avoid any ODI series before September 30; PCB has put forward three suggestions to Zimbabwe Cricket Board (ZCB), local media reported.
After qualifying in ICC champions Trophy PCB refused to play the tri-series including West Indies and Zimbabwe. PCB also cancelled bilateral series with Zimbabwe which was to be played in August, September.
According to reports, now Pakistan Cricket Board has put three proposals before ZCB.
According to first proposal, PCB has suggested to play tri-series in T20 format instead of ODIs.
The second proposal states a tour reschedule after September excluding West Indies.
Whereas third proposal suggests ZCB to play a complete series next year instead of this year, in which three test matches are included. The current tour comprised only three ODI and two T20s.
On the other hand, Zimbabwe Cricket Board, after considering the proposals, will announce its final decision in couple of days.
