PDMA announces flood, rain emergency in Sindh

KARACHI – People of Sindh to bear new problems as Pakistan Disaster Management Authority on Friday announced flood and rain in the province.

According to details, Irrigation department also issued warning of high level flood at Gudu Barrage duringb next 24 hours. Pakistan Meteorological Department issued alert for high level flood in river Indus.

Officials of Irrigation department revealed that six lac cusec water will pas from from Guddu Barrage in next 24 hours.

Flood Control Centre of Dera Ghazi Khan revealed in a press release that water flow is decreasing in Multan and Rajanpur and water discharge at Tausna barrage has fallen to 20,000 cusec.

On the other hand, river Indus at Khairabad and river Kabul at Warsak and Nowshera were in medium flood on Friday.
