SIALKOT: Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) former MNA Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has decided to formally join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
The official announcement is expected next week.
Dr Firdous Awan had resigned from PPP last month following Asif Zardari’s speech against Army.
However, she reasoned leadership’s continuous negligence towards Punjab politics for her resignation.
PPP’s co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had refused to accept resignation advising her to continue working for the party.
