KARACHI – Chief of Bahria Town Malik Riaz on Wednesday released the blackmailers who were demanding Rs 5 crore from him.
Malik Riaz also registered plea against blackmailers and attached the proofs along with plea. According to plea registered by Malik Riaz, blackmailers demanded 5 crore extortion money.
Plea revealed that Arslan Iftikhar also blackmailed the authorities of Bahria Town. Before this action Malik Riaz in video message promised to reveal the names of blackmailers.
Three people named in a plea, Dr Shafiq ur Rehman, Khalid Raheed and Col (r) Tariq Kamal. Malik Riaz Registered the plea against the blackmailers in Lohi Bher Station.
While talking to media persons, lawyer of Malik Riaz, Dr. Babar Awan said that Malik Riaz took first step against extortion and asked Judiciary and media to show some responsibility.
