Eid al-Fitr 2015: Moon sighted in Australia, New Zealand

CANBERRA: The Shawwal moon has been sighted in the sky of Australia and New Zealand, Muslims across this part of the world will celebrate Eid al-Fitr tomorrow on 17th July.

The moon-sighting committees in UAE and KSA are also meeting today to witness Shawwal moon after Maghrib prayers.

While other countries including Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and some other Asia countries will organise their moon sighting session respectively on Friday to decide the first lunar day of Shawwal.
