ISLAMABAD – Opposition Leader in Senate Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan has said that Pakistan Cricket Board was not ready to give A category Central Contract to Younis Khan who made test cricket victory possible.
Federal Minister of Sports, Riaz Pirzada has said that Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) is responsible for hockey team shameful defeat while the nation should give credit of Cricket team victory to federal government.
Riaz Pirzada told that PHF is not in the control of federal government.
“Everytime when we interfere in PHF issues, they give excuse of pressue from international federation”. Riaz Pirzada added.
When opposition raised the issue of hockey, Riaz Pizada aksed the senate not to discuss hockey problems, rather should celebrate cricket test match victory.
In the reply of federal minister statement, Opposition leader Aitzaz Ahsan said that Riaz Pirzada is clever enough to seek the credit of cirkcet victory
but he does not know that PCB was not ready to give A category central contact to the hero of test match win, Younis Khan.
Aitzaz Ahsan said that government should take control of PHF and make reforms to save the national game. He was talking in Senate on point of order.
