LONDON – Pakistan tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq and his partner Gilles Muller of Luxembourg has reached the second round of men’s double event at Wimbledon on Thursday.
Aisam and Muller defeated Germany’s Benjamin Becker and Venezuelan Roberto Maytin to win 6-3, 6-3, 6-3
They will next play French 10th seeds Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert for a place in the third round.
In addition to the doubles event, Aisam will also be competing in the mixed doubles event where he will partner with Russia’s Vera Dushevina.
