Raina decides to take legal action against former IPL chairman

MUMBAI – Indian star cricketer Suresh Raina denied all allegations of match fixing impeached bu former IPL chairman Lalit Modi

Suresh Raina said that he was never involved in wrong doing. He also told that he was considering legal action against Modi.

Few days back, former chairman and founder of Indian Premier League (IPL) Lalit Modi has claimed Saturday that three Chennai Super Kings’ players are involved in match-fixing case.

Modi in a tweet on Saturday said that two Indian players Suresh Raina, RAvindra Jadeja and one West Indian player Dwayne Bravo have been taking bribes from an Indian real-estate tycoon who has rewarded them with money and apartments.

Modi’s allegations have opened a Pandora box and have caused a stir in Indian cricketing spheres.

Modi also told that he had written a letter to ICC president in 2013 to inform about the bribe-show that have been going in cash-rich IPL.

Modi stated that he had been informed by “reliable sources” that the tycoon had paid in cash and kind to the three players. He concluded by saying that “I hope this is not true but if true it could mean more are involved.”

IPL architect revealed that around INR 9,000-10,000 crore was being bet per game in every IPL game.
