NWA IDP’s back to their native villages

BANNU – Second phase of rehabilitation of Internally Displaced People of North Waziristan began from Thursday.

According to sources, about one hundred families of North Waziristan left Bannu city of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KPK) for their respective native villages in the second phase.

Each family of the IDP’s was given a Rs of 25000 along with transportation charges and rashan of six months was also handed over to them.

The people of North Waziristan had fled their areas in the wake of operation Zarb-e-Azb by Pakistan Army against safe heavens of terrorist organizations in the tribal areas of Pakistan bordering Afghanistan.

The security forces rendered an uncountable number of sacrifices to eliminate and uproot terrorism from Pakistan’s soil.
