PESHAWAR – The local president of Awami National Party (ANP) has been shot dead in firing incident in Charsadda.
According to media reports, two assailants opened fire in the office of ANP and killed Dost Muhammed, local president of party in Charsdda district.
Dost Muhammed died on the spot, source revealed. Police and locals believe the murder could be a result of personal enmity.
ANP’s district general secretary condemned the incident and demanded immediate arrest of Dost Mohammed killers. Police have registered an FIR against the two suspected gunmen, but did not disclose their names.
