Nawaz Sharif reached Karachi on short visit

KARACHI – Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif reached Karachi on day long visit on Wednesday  to preside over a high-level meeting to discuss a number of matters including law and order situation of Provincial capital.

Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah welcomes Prime Minister at airport.

Federal Ministers including Chauhdary Nisar Ali khan, Pervez Rasheed and Mushahid Ullah Khan also accompany PM.

“PM will chair a high level meeting in the Chief Minister House and is expected to deliver a strong policy statement on the Karachi situation,” the source said.

Prime Minister would be briefed on performance of the K-Electric and water supply situation in the provincial capital. PM would also be briefed about the deaths in Karachi and other parts of interior Sindh due to heat stroke.

According to spokesperson of PM house, the Premier is also expected to visit patients of heatstroke in Jinnah Hospital in Karachi.
