LAHORE – Pakistan team selection committee decided include Mohammad Irfan and Rahat Ali against in the ODI series against Sri Lanka.
According to details, tally fast bowler Mohammad Irfan will also part of mission that lead Pakistan team to ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
Rahat Ali also boost the skills Pakistan team in important series against Sri Lanka.
It is important to mention here that, Pakistan needs to beat Sri Lanka to get the ticket for ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
Pakistan team is on tour to Sri Lanka, where Pakistan team will play three test matches, five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and two Twenty20 matches.
This tour has gained more importance for Pakistan because it is the last chance for green shirts to make its space in  International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy, 2017.
Pakistan team is facing the problem of qualifying for Champions Trophy because Bangladesh team grabbed two back to back victories against India and took seventh spot in ICC ODI team ranking with 2804 points.
Before this series, Bangladesh team have white washed Pakistan in ODI series, and it happened for the first time in the history of Pakistan cricket.
After this win Bangladesh team have qualified for ICC Champions trophy for the first time in the history of cricket.
Pakistan selection committee also decided to include Umar Akmal in the one day squad against Sri Lanka. Pakistan Cricket Board also instructed Umar Akmal to improve his behavior.
According to information, selection committee likely to drop fast bowler Mohammad Sami due to his ordinary performance against Zimbabwe.
Pakistan team will play five one day matches against Sri Lanka starting from July 11.
