Media and people of Pakistan is our JIT: Dr Qadri

LAHORE – Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT),  Dr Tahirul Qadri, has arrived at Allama Iqbal International Airport on Monday.

The PAT chief has reached his Model Town residence with a convoy of followers and party workers who gave him a warm welcome. The party reportedly refused to accept security protocol of Punjab Police.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that neither he nor any of the victims of the Model Town tragedy took a penny from the government but a government and its officials run false propaganda against him and families of victims.

He further added that the report of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on the Model Town incident was biased and it was the height of injustice.

Dr Qadri blamed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif for being behind the killings of his workers during confrontation with the Punjab police in Model Town last year.
