KARACHI – Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, held federal government responsible for the deaths caused as a result of heatwave in Karachi.
According to sources, a meeting was held at Bilawal house to discuss the prevailing crisis of load-shedding and heatwave in Karachi.
Bilawal said that federal government had promised to end load-shedding within 6 months after assuming the charge, adding that the federal government failed to fulfill their promise even after two years of their charge.
He said that a large number of people died due to unavailability of electricity and scarcity of water, adding that federal government was responsible to bottle the monster of load-shedding.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also directed Chief Minister Sindh to take necessary measure in order to resolve the water crisis in Karachi. Meanwhile, the CM also briefed the Party Chairman about law and order situation of the province.
