KARACHI – Law enforcement agencies raided the homes of Muhammad Anwar close relatives in Karachi on Saturday.
Muhammad Anwar is a Worker of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) based in United Kingdom.
The law enforcement agencies are in action against MQM after the statement of Tariq Mir to UK police in which he confessed that Indian was funding to MQM.
Sources said that during the raid by law enforcement agencies no arrests were brought. However, some important documents were taken into custody.
The MQM leaders claim that the prevailing allegations against their party were nothing else than a media trial, adding that such allegations were leveled against their party in the past as well.
The Federal interior minister, Chaudhry Nisar termed Tariq Mir statement as a confirmation of the suspicions against Indian Involvement in Pakistan.
