ISLAMABAD: Senior Defence Analyst and Air Marshal (R) Shahid Latif has demanded to declare India a terrorist state for its involvement in spreading terrorism in Pakistan and other neighboring countries.
While speaking in a TV show, retired Air Marshal said India is patronizing terrorism activities in Baluchistan, and in Karachi. He said Pakistan has concrete proves against India for its involvement in spreading insurgency across the border.
Commenting on BBC’s report on MQM, he said, after Tariq Mir’s interview made public, it has been proved that MQM has been taking financial aid from India, our enemy state; and this should be treated under treason act.
Earlier, documents of senior MQM leader Tariq Mir’s interview to UK police were leaked on local media which brought MQM under serious criticism in the country.
However, MQM leadership has been denying all the allegations so far, but has not sued BBC for its report.
