COLOMBO – The emerging leg spinner of Pakistan, Yasir Shah, said on Saturday, that appreciation from Shane Warne encouraged me a lot.
Star leg spinner said that, “Shane Warne is the world class bowler and appreciation from him encouraged me to take on bowling skillfully”.
He further said that it is the need of the hour for me to improve my game to benefit team Pakistan.
The star bowler helped Pakistan to secure stunning victory over Sri Lanka in the first test match in Galle when he took 7 wickets in the second innings of Sri Lanka.
Yasir Shah also took 6 wickets in the first innings of second Test match between the two teams in Colombo.
He also became the first Pakistani to complete his 50 wickets in the Test cricket in just 9 matches leaving behind legendary Waqar Younis and Muhammad Asif.
