Wahab Riaz likely to miss the rest of Sri Lanka tour

COLOMBO – Pakistan fast bowler, Wahab Riaz, is likely to miss out ongoing tour of Sri Lanka in the light of hand injury.

According to the media reports, Wahab Riaz receives bouncer of Sri Lankan pacer PVD Chameera on his elbow while batting on the first day of Colombo test. Pakistan team official has revealed that Wahab bowled on the first day using pain killer injections.

Team official further added that Wahab injury was of serious nature and it would take 3-4 weeks to fully recover. So it is very much possible that Wahab may miss the rest of Sri Lanka tour.

Earlier on the first day of Colombo test, Pakistan team scored just 138 runs in their first inning.Seven of Pakistan batsmen could not reach double figures. Muhammed Hafeez was the top scorer with 42 runs. Younus Khan who is playing his 100th test failed to have an impact in the first innings.
