Sri Lanka take big lead against Pakistan

COLOMBO – Host team look in good control against Pakistan team on the second day of  the second Test match of three Test match series at Colombo, on Friday.

Sri Lankan opening batsmen provided a good start to the team. Lankan team so far socred 147 runs at the lost of three wickets.

They took the lead of nine runs with seven wickets remaining. On the second day, Sri Lankan team lost the wicket of Kumar Sangakkara and also Thirimanne left the crease after scoring seven runs.

Zulfiqar Babar and Yasir Shah took one wicket each on the second day of Test match. Pakistan team will play this match with one bowler as  Pakistani fast bowler, Wahab Riaz, will miss ongoing tour of Sri Lanka in the light of hand injury.

According to the details, Wahab Riaz receives bouncer of Sri Lankan pacer PVD Chameera on his elbow while batting on the first day of Colombo test. Pakistan team official has revealed that Wahab bowled on the first day by using pain killer injections.

Team official further added that Wahab injury was of serious nature and it would take 3-4 weeks to fully recover. So it is very much possible that Wahab may miss the rest of Sri Lanka tour.
