KARACHI – Internet users in Pakistan will suffer from slow speed internet, including 3G service due to fault in one of the major submarine cables.
According to the information, a physical occurred in the major submarine cable that connecting Pakistan to rest of world.
The location of fault was identified but it will take two to three weeks to fix the problems and due to this problem, users will face low download and upload speed.
PTCL official confirmed the problem and told that after this fault, bandwidth is being shifted to others cables to fulfill the demand in country.
According to details, bandwidth will relay on back-up cables and fault will take couple of weeks to fully fixed.
PTCL formally informed the users through social networking site.
Bandwidth availability will improve in the next one to two hours. However, optimization through other submarine cables will take 1 to 2 days
