Sri Lanka’s bowlers ripped through Pakistan’s top order in Colombo test

COLOMBO – A disciplined and accurate bowling from Sri Lanka’s bowlers, particularly Dhammika Prasad and debutant Dushmantha Chameera, has put Pakistan under huge pressure on first day of second test.

Pakistan elected to bat first after Misbah won the toss but Pakistan batsmen failed to score runs on green wicket. Sri Lankan fast bowlers utilized the conditions very well and picked wickets on regular intervals.

According to latest updates Pakistan lost 6 wickets with 96 runs on the board. Wahab Riaz and Sarfraz Ahmed are on the crease. Younus Khan,who was playing his 100th test, only managed to score 6 runs.

Pakistan’s openers could not provide ideal of starts as Ahmed Shahzad departs in the thied over. Mohammed Hafeez was the top scorer today with 46 runs.
