Load Shedding wakes up CM Sindh Syed Qaim ALi Shah

KARACHI – Chief Minsiter Sindh Syed Qaim ALi Shah has finally taken notice of long hours loadshedding in Karachi, imposing section 144 across the Sindh to close all markets before 9pm.


Syed Qaim Ali Shah has also advised the government offices not to use Air Conditioners before 11am in the noon. CM has also called a high profile meeting to discuss the situation after the wave of extreme heat in Sindh.

CM has directed the local administration to strictly close the markets before 9m at night.

It is important to mention here that Pakistan is suffering from the shortfall of 5,500 megawatt.

According to the details, Pakistan is producing 15,500 MW instead of 21,000 MW that create worst situation in different parts of Pakistan. Government is unable to fulfill the demand of electricity due to the shortage of furnace oil.

People of Pakistan are facing un-scheduled load shedding up to 18 hours daily. Hot weather and shortage of water increased the problems of citizens. People protest in different parts of country against the un-scheduled load shedding.

Protesters blocked traffic in big cities of Pakistan including Karachi, Multan, Bannu, Kohat, Faisalabad to record their protest and demanded to resolve the current power situation.

They also chanted slogans against WAPDA and government. On the other hand, according to tye government officials, situation is now under control and blaming each other for load shedding issue.
