LAHORE – The German Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr Cyrill Nunn, called on the Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday to discuss Pak-German cooperation in the energy sector.
While briefing media, the CM Punjab said that Pakistan and Germany enjoyed deep brotherly relations and Pakistan would welcome German cooperation in the energy sector as Pakistan is energy starved country.
Shahbaz Sharif has announced that first solar plant has been completed with help of Germany having capacity of one hundred mega watts.
The German Ambassador has said that Germany was ready to invest in more in the energy sector of Punjab to make it energy rich area.
