KARACHI – Pakistan People Party (PPP) has decided to replace Sindh Chief Minister, Qaim Ali Shah with a senior leader of the party, Khrushid Shah.
Khurshid Shah is currently the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and he will be replaced by the party’s Co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.
It is expected that PPP will bring Bilawal into parliament by letting him contest election on their home ground of Larkana constituency.
According to the sources close to Pakistan People’s Party, the critical decision came up during a meeting of PPP’s central executive committee held in Islamabad the last night.
The meeting was chaired by young Bilawal whereas Asif Ali Zardari was also present in the meeting. Asif Ali Zardari’s recent comment about Pak Army and Sindh government’s current performance were also discussed in the meeting.
