MOSCOW – General Raheel Sharif met with the Chairman of Russian Parliament Sergey Naryshkin on Wednesday during three-day official tour.
According to Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) chairman of Russian Parliament Sergey Naryshkin appreciate the role of Pakistan for regional peace.
He said that Russia supports Pakistan in war against terrorism. Naryshkin also said that Pak-Russia ties to be promoted independently.
Army chief also visit the Russian defence exhibition. He inspects different weapon stall and expressed his interest in weapons, fighter jets and helicopters.
This is the first visit of Army Chief to Russia and during his three-day stay in Moscow, General Raheel is expected to meet the top Russian civil and military leadership.
According to details the army chief will brief Russian authorities on the current regional situation.
