KARACHI – For the first time ever in the Asian filmmaking history Pakistan will be only country holding the Smartphone Film Festival in September.
Pakistan will be the first country who hold the Smartphone Film Festival in Asia.
The Hollywood filmmaker and founder of iPhone Film Festival Mr. Ruben Kazantsev in pre-launch ceremony announced that will himself arrive Karachi to inaugurate the festival.
Smartphone Film Festival is going to be organized in Pakistan with the collaboration of iSmart Films, International iPhone Film Festival, Wajood Media, Blems Production and MadJoint Studios.
The main reason of pre-launch ceremony and press conference was to highlight Asia’s first and world’s 9thSmartphone Film Festival being held this year in Pakistan.
While talking to media persons Mr. Kamran Ata, Cofounder iSmart Films, said that the modern telecommunication devices and newly-introduced smart phones had enabled common men and women to capture thrilling stories and share those videos via social media in a second.
“Due to these small, pocket-sized mobile phones, Pakistani youth has got a wonderful medium to showcase their hidden talent as potential filmmakers and make a bigger impact in the filmmaking world globally,” he added.
