KARACHI – The Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Raheel Sharif has said that they were aware of the enemy’s intentions and they would never compromise on national interests and sovereignty of Pakistan.
Gen. Raheel Sharif was addressing to the passing out parade of naval cadets in Pakistan Naval Academy.
“We are ready to pay any price to protect our nationhood and safeguard our interests be it Kashmir, development of new ports or the exploitation of the natural resources”, Army Chief said.
He further said that operation Zarb-e-Azab was delivering decisive results as entire nation expresses resolve to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
Army Chief said that CPEC and Gawadar port would be built at all costs. Regarding the China Pakistan Economic Corridor the Army Chief said it held enormous potential for transforming the lives of the region’s people.
