ISLAMABAD – National Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution on Thursday condemning the recent aggressive and anti-Pakistan statements from prominent Indian leaders.
The resolution carried a message that such attempts by India are unacceptable, and that Pakistan rejects the ongoing hegemonic mindset. The resolution emphasized that Pakistan would never allow its territory to be violated by India under any pretext.
The political leaders in National Assembly stated that Pakistani armed forces were fully capable to give a befitting response to any incursion.
Participants urged the international community to take note of such anti statements which negatively impact on the prospects of regional peace, sovereignty and stability.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that anti-Pakistan statement from Indian leaders are shameful.
Earlier, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Rathore warned that Indian strikes in Myanmar were a message to all countries, including Pakistan and groups harboring ‘terror intent’ that India would strike at the ‘place and at a time’ of its choosing.
