Blind people protest on kalma chowk, metro bus route blocked

LAHORE – Blind people protest block metro-bus route near kalma chowk, sources revealed.

Protesters are staging a rally in Lahore to advocate for their rights. According to media reports, protesters blocked movement of metro bus as they staged sit-in on metro bus route.

This is not the first incident of its kind in the provincial capital. In December 2014, during protest of  blind people, police attempted to prevent the protesters from marching towards the Chief Minister Secretariat, as a result of which several protesters were injured.
